‘Put me back on the radio’: Sandilands arrives at court

Kyle Sandilands has declared he’s not nervous as he arrived at court for the second time in his widening legal spat with his former radio bosses.

The notorious radio host said there was no fun to be had in the Federal Court on Friday, when he and co-host Jackie “O” Henderson have a joint procedural hearing.

But the Kyle and Jackie O Show shock jock admitted he still hadn’t spoken with his long-time co-host since their on-air bust up on February 20.

“I haven’t spoken to Jackie, I haven’t spoken to any of their people,” Sandilands said on his way into court on Friday.

Hopes of a public reunion between the pair were also put on ice.

“I don’t think we’ll see anyone except for me today, just quietly,” Sandilands said.

He and Henderson are being sued by their former employer ARN, after they lodged separate lawsuits following the on-air spat that led to their show being axed.

Each of the former hosts is seeking the full payout of the remainder of their 10-year, $100 million contracts that were signed at the end of 2023.

But ARN, the parent company of their former employer KIIS FM, alleges in a counter suit that the controversial pair cost it key advertising revenue through their sacking.

By breaching their contract and making the future of their breakfast show untenable, Henderson and Sandilands were both liable for the subsequent loss of advertising revenue, the broadcaster said in documents filed in the Federal Court.

Sandilands had a simple message for the company that he believed would save financial blushes all round: “Put me back on the radio and let’s get the share price back up.”

According to a ratings survey released on Thursday, the station’s audience share has dropped in Henderson and Sandiland’s former time slot in their primary market of Sydney,

In its defence to Sandilands’ lawsuit over his sacking, ARN told the court that Henderson wrote to the station in February accusing him of “persistent and relentless bullying”.

He allegedly made offensive comments to her in September 2025 that prompted her to raise a complaint with station staff.

“Don’t f—ing bother coming back either until you get your f—ing shit together like a normal person,” Sandilands allegedly told Henderson off-air.

“I’ve been carrying this whole show for f—ing a year.”

Henderson alleged in court documents that she had complained to station management multiple times about comments by Sandilands over about six months.

Her case will be heard for the first time on Friday, setting up a potential showdown with her former colleague, whose case will also be looked at on the same day.

Sandilands allegedly said some of Henderson’s comments were “weird, psychological bullshit”, and her belief in “hype words” was negatively impacting her dating life.

But Sandilands’ suit claims his contract should not have been torn up because he had committed no serious misconduct.

The highly public bust-up moved into the legal arena after an exchange between the star pair in February, when Sandilands accused his co-host of being “off with the fairies”.

The on-air comments prompted Henderson to say she could no longer work with her contentious colleague.
