A 67-year-old woman has been charged over the alleged stabbing of two men at a home in the Blue Mountains last week.
Emergency services were called to a home on Myall Avenue, Leura, about 7.30am on Sunday 24 August, and found two men each suffering multiple stab wounds.
They were taken by NSW Ambulance paramedics to Westmead Hospital where they remain after undergoing surgery.
A woman – believed to be the mother of the two adult men – was found unconscious at the scene and was taken to Nepean Hospital, where she remains.
Officers attached to Blue Mountains Police Area Command commenced an investigation under Strike Force Gamerco.
Following inquiries, Blue Mountains PAC detectives arrested the woman in hospital on Monday.
She was charged her with two counts of cause wounding/grievous bodily harm to person with intent to murder.
She has been refused bail to Penrith Local Court on Tuesday, with a bedside hearing expected.
