Police hold grave fears for a woman missing in the outback for 16 days and have renewed search efforts near where her car was found abandoned.
Trisha Graf was last seen early on Friday, December 12, in the Roxby Downs area, 510 kilometres north of Adelaide.
The 41-year-old Andamooka woman was driving a white 2012 Ford Territory, SA registration S254BCX. It was found abandoned and unable to be driven near Blue Dam, east of Andamooka, on December 13.
Police conducted an extensive air and ground search operation, including specialist dive teams, which failed to turn up any sign of Graf.
On Monday, police were undertaking a further aerial search focusing on an area between Blue Dam and Andamooka, 32 kilometres from Roxby Downs, expanding the area already covered during extensive ground searches.
Police said they held “grave concerns” for Graf’s welfare.
Anyone with information about Graf’s whereabouts or her movements before her disappearance is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at crimestopperssa.com.au.
