Is this Australia’s oldest dad? Meet the 93yo who has a 1yo son

Dr John Levin has never shied away from the unconventional. The Melbourne GP specialises in anti-aging medicine and now, at 93 years young, he might just be Australia’s oldest dad.

After losing his first wife in 2013, Levin took up Mandarin and fell madly in love with his teacher, Dr Yanying Lu.

Despite the 57-year age gap, the pair married in Las Vegas in 2014.

A decade later, little Gabby was born through IVF, using donor sperm. Levin still plans to be around for years to celebrate Gabby’s special milestones.

He believes growth hormone is the elixir of youth and claims he’s proof; the 93-year-old still sees patients and hits the gym twice a week.

A father to four, Levin also has 10 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter, but he’s not done yet. The couple is considering having another child to give son Gabby a sibling.
