Bondi Vet television personality Dr Chris Brown will lead a three-person replacement for fallen Sydney radio stars Kyle Sandilands and “Jackie O” Henderson.
ARN announced the trio on Monday, seven months after an on-air dispute triggered an acrimonious split between the then-hosts of KIIS FM’s breakfast program.
Brown, occasional KIIS fill-in host Amy Gerard and former Nova star Jack Charles will take to the radio waves on November 9.
However, unlike Sandilands and Henderson, the new team won’t be broadcast into Melbourne – which became a difficult transition for the former Kyle and Jackie O Show. The radio network will soon announce hosts for their replacements in the Victorian capital.

Sandilands reacted to the news on his own subscription show, Kyle Sandilands Live, when newsreader Mary Madigan asked if he felt “smug” for correctly guessing he would be replaced by Brown.
Sandilands said: “I was always right”.
“I don’t know Chris well, but I’ve met him. He’s a bit vanilla, but you know, that’s alright,” he said.
“Amy, I think she’s a fun girl, I think she does a great job, and I don’t know the other chap, but I’m sure if he’s been on with Chrissy Swan for a while, he’ll know, he’ll know what’s what.”
Sandilands wished the debut trio luck.
“I hope they do their very best, because it’s not an easy gig.”
But of his former employer he said: “You used to have the biggest radio brand. Now, you would arguably say you’re one of the worst.
“That, to me, equals boring as bats—t radio.”
He added that the program’s rebranding was “ugly” and used the “wokiest” shade of purple.
Sandilands and Henderson were let go by ARN after an on-air spat in February following 27 years on air.
Both hosts launched lawsuits against their former employers. Henderson’s remains before the courts, while ARN and Sandilands settled for $12 million in June.
Sandilands launched a subscription-based program, Kyle Sandilands Live, in August. NSW Premier Chris Minns was his debut guest.
ARN chief executive Michael Stephenson said the revamped line-up had been designed to deliver big names and fresh talent.
“We have the biggest radio brand in the country, and we now have a team that is building something very special for listeners,” he said.
Brown, who had been touted as a forerunner to join the program, is known to television audiences for programs such as Bondi Vet, The Living Room and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.
“Waking up with the city I love and bringing a huge dose of real life, warmth and (hopefully) humour is truly a dream come true,” he said.
Gerard, already familiar to the station’s listeners, said the new partnership was off to an auspicious start.
“The chemistry between Chris, Jack and I already feels so natural. It’s fun, unpredictable,” she said.
“There’s a very good chance we’ll be completely unhinged before most people have had their first coffee,” she said.
Charles, meanwhile, said he was “pumped” to be joining the program after quitting Nova earlier in September.
ARN Media operates 58 radio stations across 33 markets, including KIIS, GOLD, CADA and iHeart.
Sandilands and Henderson were the company’s best-paid talent, after securing a 10-year contract worth a reported $200 million in 2023.
