Royal servants ‘strike’ as Andrew moves into Sandringham

Royal servants are reportedly revolting and refusing to serve disgraced Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor in his new residence at Sandringham.
The abuse-accused former prince was ordered to move out of the Royal Lodge mansion at Windsor and into a cottage on the King’s Norfolk estate.
But his arrival at Sandringham this week has reportedly triggered a “strike” among staff who do not want to serve him.
The demoted prince left Royal Lodge on Monday (local time) and is reportedly staying temporarily at Sandringham’s Wood Farm cottage before moving next door to his permanent home.
The Sun reports that servants have been told they can reject serving Mountbatten-Windsor if they are uncomfortable working for him.
A source said the number of staff refusing to work for him was already a “long list”.
“They’ve been told they don’t have to serve Andrew or work for him if they feel uncomfortable,” a source told The Sun.
“There is already quite a list saying ‘no thanks’. There is understandably a lot of disquiet as he is now a total pariah.
“But there is also a worry that once he gets comfortable at Wood Farm while Marsh Farm is being finished, they will never get him out again.”
It is understood the former duke’s new home of Marsh Farm is still being renovated. He is expected to move in by the start of April.
It was known the former prince would move out of Royal Lodge in the new year and the development is not thought to be linked to the latest revelations in the Epstein documents.
Mountbatten-Windsor still has the lease for his Windsor property until October but it is understood he has made the substantive part of his move to his new home.

Mountbatten-Windsor features prominently times in the latest Epstein documents, which were released by the US Department of Justice last weekend.
The documents include photographs of the then-prince crouching over an unidentified woman in what appears to be Epstein’s New York mansion.
The former prince and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson appear in email exchanges with Epstein, with Mountbatten-Windsor appearing to invite him to Buckingham Palace, and Ferguson saying: “I am at your service. Just marry me”.
The email exchange reveals Epstein also offers to introduce Mountbatten-Windsor to a woman described by the paedophile as “26, Russian, clevere (sic) beautiful, trustworthy”.
“Wish I was still a pet in your family,” Mountbatten-Windsor tells Epstein in another email in the same month.
Mountbatten-Windsor vehemently denies any wrongdoing.
In 2022, the former duke paid millions of pounds to his main accuser, Virginia Giuffre – a woman he claims never to have met.
He was stripped of his titles by the King last year after the posthumous publication of Giuffre’s memoir. She alleged she was trafficked by Epstein and his former girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell when she was 17.
