Australian Idol stars join forces to belt out Broadway favourites

They shot to fame more than two decades ago as contestants on Network Ten’s Australian Idol, and now some of the country’s biggest voices are reuniting to bring Broadway to life on stage in Melbourne.

Rob Mills, Casey Donovan and Paulini have all forged incredible careers in musical theatre.

While Australian Idol may have lost its shine, the trio remain household names in the entertainment industry. All three have starred in musical theatre blockbusters and next month, they’ll be accompanied by the Australian Pops Orchestra to perform some of their biggest hits at the Melbourne Recital Centre.

The show is aptly titled, “The Idols of Musical Theatre”. Their repertoire will include songs from Wicked, Chicago and The Bodyguard.
