The most bizarre dismissal in cricket history?
In one of the strangest things ever seen on a cricket field, a Melbourne Renegades player has been run out by a ball rebounding off the bowler’s nose.
A straight drive from Renegades batsman Dwayne Bravo off Melbourne Stars spinner Adam Zampa cannoned off the bat of non-striker Peter Nevill, off Zampa’s face and into the stumps – leaving Nevill stranded down the pitch.
Although he knew he was out, Nevill stayed to make sure Zampa was ok.
