Socceroos score ratings goal for ABC
Australia’s historic Asian Cup soccer win was the No.1 show on both free-to-air and subscription TV on Saturday night.
More than two million viewers watched the Socceroos’ 2-1 victory over South Korea, despite it clashing with the Australian Open Tennis Women’s Final.

The Asian Cup Final Post Game, which included extra-time, attracted 1.672 million viewers on ABC1 to be the No.1 show on OzTAM’s free-to-air overnight ratings.
The simulcast coverage on Fox Sports 4 attracted an audience of 441,000 to be the highest rating show on subscription TV.
