Steve Feltham has spent 35 years looking for a monster but chasing a dream.

For centuries, the legend of the Loch Ness monster has captured the public’s imagination, drawing flocks of tourists to the shores of the famous Scottish lake.

Many have sought the creature over the years, but only one has moved into a van with no running water or electricity to do it.

10 News+ speaks with Loch Ness monster hunter Feltham, who believes he has encountered Nessie and has promised himself that next time he will be ready with a camera.

Feltham opens up about whether he’s ever been tempted to fake it, shares his best piece of proof of the creature’s existence, and reflects on how AI has made his job much harder.
