Photos capture final moments before tragic Porepunkah police shooting

It’s been seventeen days since Dezi Freeman disappeared into Victorian bushland after gunning down two police officers.

Now, harrowing images have been revealed from the moments before the attack that morning, on August 26.

Screenshots from a 27-minute video recording of the siege emerged online the same day as the family of one slain officer arrived to see for themselves where their son was killed.

Alain Hottart and Carolina de Waart have now spent time in Porepunkah where their son, Senior Constable Vadim de Waart-Hottart, was shot dead.

An enormous search is still underway for Freeman.

Police have said their record setting $1 million reward has been helpful, given they have received 200 pieces of information since it was announced.
