Man in custody after WA woman’s stabbing

A 22-year-old woman has died after being stabbed at Balga in Perth’s north.
WA Police homicide squad detectives are investigating after emergency services were called to the scene of a serious assault around 7.55pm on Saturday.
St John Ambulance WA provided emergency treatment and took the woman to Royal Perth Hospital, where she later died.
Police said a 30-year-old man believed to be involved in the assault was taken into custody nearby shortly afterwards.
