Teens allegedly set lambs alight, bludgeon chickens

Two teenage boys have been charged with several alleged acts of animal torture in Dural.
Police allege the two 14-year-old boys entered an animal enclosure on a school property at Dural on the weekend.

Two lambs were allegedly beaten and stabbed and then set alight. One died as a result, while the other was seriously injured.
Five chickens were also allegedly stabbed and bludgeoned to death.
Police charged the boys, including with torture and causing the death of an animal.
Both were refused bail to appear at a Children’s Court on October 9.
