Toddler drowns in Melbourne pool
A toddler has drowned in a backyard pool at a house at Melton South in Melbourne’s outer north-west.
The two-year-old boy was found by his mother at the home in Morshead Street about 1:00pm (AEST), according to police.

She performed CPR in an unsuccessful attempt to revive him.
Police remain on the scene and will prepare a report for the coroner.
