Abducted toddler found

Police have found Oliver Steer, 2, who was taken from his home in Cairns in far north Queensland.
The young boy was abducted from Edmonton, south of Cairns, at approximately 2pm on Thursday.

A child abduction alert had been issued by police after a man — known to the boy — placed him into a car at Edmonton yesterday afternoon.
In a statement early on Friday, police said the boy had been located by police, without giving any further detail.
