Teenage girl stabbed in chest during fight
A 17-year-old girl has been stabbed in the chest on Queensland’s Gold Coast.
Police were called to a fight between a group of teenage girls just after 2:30pm at a bus stop on Griffith Street in Coolangatta.
• Dead boy, 10, was in aunt’s care
One teenager has since been taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital with a serious stab wound.
A crime scene has been established with detectives continuing investigations.
Queensland Police are asking for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact Crime Stoppers.
