He appeared briefly in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday for a filing hearing, where Magistrate Franz Holzer said Mr Besim’s bail application would be heard on April 30.
Mr Besim was arrested in a pre-dawn raid on Saturday.
It has been alleged that he and two others were planning to attack police officers and members of the public on Anzac Day.
