Delta Goodrem has taken on a surprise new role, swapping the stage for science.
The renowned singer-songwriter is coaching the next generation of women in STEM, who are trying to break the barriers in a male-dominated industry.
STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Most jobs now require those skills, but women make up only 15 per cent of the STEM workforce in Australia.
A local organisation is trying to change that with the help of Goodrem, who is loaning her powerful voice to the cause as an ambassador for confidence, creativity, and communication to aspiring young women.
