Former Senator and media veteran Derryn Hinch calls for ‘jail, not bail’

He’s the only man to start a political party specifically to stop paedophiles in their tracks.
Derryn Hinch, media giant and former Senator, is no stranger to tough decisions.
He’s been to jail for revealing the prior convictions of a paedophile priest who, at the time of Hinch’s broadcast, was still working with children at a youth camp.
Despite his life-changing work, Hinch failed to get re-elected after just three years as a senator.
“A bit of me died when I didn’t get re-elected,” Hinch told 10 News+.
Now, Hinch is speaking to 10 News+ about his childhood, the liver transplant that saved his life, and why he says his calls for “jail, not bail” are more relevant than ever.
