The Prince and Princess of Wales have shared their love with the world in a special social media post to mark Valentine’s Day.

William and Kate released an unseen black-and-white photo taken by photographer Josh Skinner, who has captured many of their family’s intimate moments.

The picture of the beaming future monarchs in the countryside was taken in Anmer, in Norfolk, England, in April 2025 in the same photo session as their 2025 Christmas Card.

It was released on their social media channels on February 14 — the day of the year reserved for lovers across the globe.

The photo was shared with the caption “Happy Valentine’s Day” along with a heart emoji.

It is the second year the couple has publicly marked the day, after sharing a photo in 2025.

The photo shared in 2025 was a still image taken from the video released in September 2024 when the princess announced she had ended her cancer treatment.

The picture showed the princess smiling as the prince kissed her on the cheek.

During the week, Kate visited a school to mark Children’s Mental Health Week.

Earlier this month, the princess shared a heartfelt message of support to commemorate World Cancer Day.

The 44-year-old royal was diagnosed with cancer in early 2024, and after overcoming her health scare, Kate posted a message to other people going through similar struggles.

“On World Cancer Day, my thoughts are with everyone who is facing a cancer diagnosis, undergoing treatment or finding their way through recovery,” she said in the video, posted to Instagram.

“Cancer touches so many lives — not only patients, but the families and friends and caregivers who walk beside them.

“As anyone who has experienced this journey will know, it’s not linear. There are moments of fear and exhaustion. But also moments of strength, kindness, and profound connection.

“Today is a reminder of the importance of care, understanding and hope. Please know you are not alone.”

Kate announced in early 2025 she was in remission from cancer. The princess’s video included footage of her visit in January 2025 to the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, on the day she confirmed she was in remission.
