Nicole Kidman is not hiding away after her split from Keith Urban, this time coming out singing, dancing and strutting for a special Vogue tribute show.

The leading actress oozed old-school Hollywood glamour when she opened the Vogue World Hollywood fashion tribute.

She wore a stunning black Chanel dress for the celebration of film and fashion at Paramount Studios.

Kidman opened the high-fashion event by strutting onto the runway in the outfit that many considered to be her “revenge dress”.

Vogue magazine described the ensemble as a custom black draped satin bustier dress adorned with black satin camellias.

She enhanced the outfit with Chanel Fine Jewellery Diamant Evanescent necklace, bedecked with hundreds of brilliant-cut diamonds.

The Australian actress was also seen in a backstage black-and-white video, singing Put the Blame on Mame from the 1946 classic Gilda, performed by Rita Hayworth.

Kidman posted photos from the event, including of herself with former Vogue editor Anna Wintour and Australian director Baz Lurhman.

“Celebrating film and fashion at Vogue World: Hollywood,” she captioned the post.

“Thank you to Anna, Baz, Matthieu (Blazy) and the entire Vogue team,” she wrote.

Kidman was announced as Chanel’s ambassador earlier this month when news of her split from her country singer husband of 19 years was fresh.

She posted with her daughters at Paris Fashion Week, appearing relaxed in a white button-up shirt and jeans, debuting a new haircut she described as part of her “breakup bang” era.

“Thank you @chanelofficial for having me and my girls,” she captioned the photos.

“So excited to be a part of it with you @matthieu_blazy.”

The actress was joined at the show by her daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, though they were not featured in her post.

Kidman also reshared a clip from hairstylist Adir Abergel, who wrote on Instagram: “New bang era,” while showcasing Kidman’s updated look.

The appearance marked Kidman’s first major public outing since filing for divorce from Urban after 19 years of marriage.

According to court documents obtained by Page Six, she cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.

Kidman has requested to be the “primary residential parent” of the couple’s daughters.

Insiders told Page Six the Babygirl star had tried to salvage the marriage but was now focused on moving forward.

“She was sad, but moving on,” a source said.

“Sometimes relationships just run their course.”

Reports from TMZ claimed Kidman and Urban had been living separately in Nashville for moths.

Urban, currently in the middle of his High and Alive World Tour, appeared without his wedding ring last week.

He and Kidman married in 2006 and have long split their time between the United States and Australia.
