Ex-cricketer Brad Hogg opens up about his mental health journey

It’s unlikely we’ve ever had a “happier” sports hero than Brad Hogg, who played cricket for Australia deep into his 40s.

A cult hero in WA, he became the oldest player ever to be signed up for the world’s richest cricket competition, the Indian Premier League.

But it was what he learned about the bumps along the way that sees him now travelling the country in the name of another cause.

Hugh Riminton sat down with Hogg for 10 News+, with the former cricket star opening up about his mental health struggles and the message he has now.
