Twitter introduces Star Wars themed emojis

Looking for new ways to express your excitement about the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII? Feverish Facebook posts not cutting it?
Thanks to Twitter you can now express your feelings in emoticon form, with the recent introduction of Star Wars-themed Emojis.
• Familiar faces return in new ‘Star Wars’ trailer
• Why 2015 is the best year in movies … ever!
• Marvel debuts new superhero, Ant-Man
The new icons debuted on Thursday at the Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, California, just as a new trailer for the seventh film hit the web.
To use the emojis in your tweets, include the corresponding hashtag and the icons will be automatically appended to the end of the text.
The emoji options include(#C3PO, #StormTrooper, #TheForceAwakens or #BB8.
Here’s a demo of how the icons appear on Twitter:
The emojis are the product of a partnership between Twitter, Disney and Lucasfilm.
The new additions have prompted a call for other popular television shows and movies to receive their own emoji keyboard, particularly HBO hit Game of Thrones.
