Guy Pearce and Game of Thrones star’s baby news
Aussie actor Guy Pearce is expecting a child with Game of Thrones star Carice van Houten.
Confirmation of the pregnancy came from the actress’ agent, who released a statement that read, “Carice and Guy are thrilled to be expecting their first child”.

Pearce, 48, split from wife Kate Mestitz towards the end of last year.
He and van Houten have been seen together several times recently.
Van Houten, who plays Melisandre on Game of Thrones, confirmed the baby news on social media.
She wrote on Instagram, “Yes. It’s true. Let the shadow baby jokes begin”.
“Shadow baby” is a joking reference to her Game of Thrones storyline.
In season two of the hit show, Melisandre had a bizarre childbirth scene that saw her give birth to a shadow.
Pearce has previously claimed he wasn’t interested in having children.
