Kanye thinks he’s Jesus, but can’t walk on water
Rap god he may be, but supernatural powers Kanye West has not.
During a live show on the weekend in his wife’s native Armenia, global rap star Mr West decided to jump into a lake.

He quickly stumbled, sank and was swarmed by fans, prompting local police to shut down the free show.
It has been suggested that Mr West, who calls himself Yeezus and has a song called ‘I Am a God’, was trying to replicate Jesus’ stroll across the lake of Galilee.
Kim Kardashian seemed to refuted this heretical suggestion, posting on Twitter that her husband just wanted to be “closer to the crowd”. So, not godhood.
The rapper’s claim to divinity may be tarnished, but this has not stopped the sale of his religious relics, with one fan trying to ‘sell’ the Kanye-touched water online.
Mr West is visiting Armenia as part of Mrs Kardashian’s reality TV show, which is raising awareness of the Armenian genocide.
