While most two-year-olds are learning to walk and talk and are used to hitting things with toy hammers, Jaxon Brown is nailing drumming ‘The Pretender’ by the Foo Fighters.

In a video posted by Jaxon’s father, Justin (who is also a drummer), the toddler patiently sits out the opening guitar riff then comes in with a gentle crash of the cymbal before working into a basic drum ‘whack’.

While the head-nodding and singing is impressive (and very cute), it’s after about a minute that Jaxon lets rip on the electronic drum kit.

Justin did note: “if you’re worried about his hearing… its an electric drum kit and the levels aren’t very loud it only sounds loud because the speaker is right next to my phone…”
